Privacy policy
What changed (October 2026): this policy now covers the chat assistant on the site and the email updates you can sign up for.
This site is run by Lizzy East ("I", "me") through Roam Ventures, LLC, doing business as Lizzy East AI, based in California, United States. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to lizzyeast.com, any page served from it, and the chat assistant shown on it.
What I collect and why
- Contact form. Your name, email address, the topic you pick, and your message. I use these only to reply to you and to keep a record of our conversation. They are emailed to me and stored in my private contact list.
- Booking a call. The "Book a Call" links go to Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service with its own privacy policy. I receive the name, email, and any notes you enter there.
- Payments. If you buy something from me, the payment is handled by Stripe, a payment service with its own privacy policy. I receive your name, email address and what you bought. I never see or store your full card number.
- Webinar sign-up. Your first name and email address. I use them to send you the joining details, reminders and the recording for that session. They're kept on my webinar list in MailerLite and in my private contact list.
- Email updates. If you sign up for updates, your email address, and your first name if you give it. I use them to send updates about twice a month: free webinar dates, new systems and new posts. They're kept in MailerLite and in my private contact list. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- The chat assistant. The chat on this site is an AI assistant, not me. When you use it, it saves what you type and its replies, the time, the language, the page you started on (without anything after the "?" in the address), and whether you clicked to book a call. It never asks for your name or contact details, so please don't type passwords, payment details or anyone else's private information into it. I use these conversations to answer you, to see which questions it couldn't answer so I can add those answers, and to improve the site. Your messages are sent to Anthropic, the company whose AI model writes the replies; under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use them to train its models. The chat uses your IP address only briefly, in memory, to stop abuse; it doesn't store it.
- Server logs. Like most websites, the server records your IP address and the pages you request. I use this to keep the site running, to rate-limit abuse, and for nothing else. Logs are not combined with your identity.
What I don't do
- I don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
- I don't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on the public pages.
- I don't add you to a mailing list unless you sign up for updates or ask to be told about something specific, such as the next live session.
Cookies
The public pages set no cookies. The chat assistant keeps your open conversation in your browser's session storage (not a cookie) so it survives moving between pages; it clears when you close the tab. Private admin areas of the site use a single login cookie that only I use. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request in line with Google's privacy policy.
Who else sees your information
Email is delivered through Resend, and my mailing lists are kept in MailerLite. The site, its database, the chat assistant and its conversation log are hosted on Railway. The chat's replies are written by Anthropic's AI model. Payments run through Stripe. Scheduling runs on Cal.com. Each of these processes data on my behalf under its own terms.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. California residents have these rights under state law and may also ask that their information not be sold; it isn't. Email ai@lizzyeast.com and I'll respond within 30 days. I won't treat you differently for asking. To have a chat conversation deleted, tell me roughly when you chatted and what you asked; the chat doesn't know who you are, so that's how I find it. To leave a mailing list, use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Retention
Contact messages are kept for as long as we're in a conversation and for a reasonable period afterward so I can pick it back up. Ask and I'll delete them sooner.
Chat conversations are kept for as long as they help me improve the answers. Ask and I'll delete yours.
Webinar and update sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. I don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes get a note on this page.
Accessibility statement
I want everyone to be able to use this site. It is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA: semantic structure with a skip link and landmarks, visible keyboard focus, color contrast at or above 4.5:1 for text, text alternatives for images, and respect for your reduced-motion setting. These checks run automatically before every deployment.
If anything on the site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email ai@lizzyeast.com. I'll fix what I can and get you what you need in the meantime.
