Privacy policy

This site is run by Lizzy East ("I", "me"), based in California, United States. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to lizzyeast.com and any page served from it.

What I collect and why

• Contact form. Your name, email address, the topic you pick, and your message. I use these only to reply to you and to keep a record of our conversation. They are emailed to me and stored in my private contact list.
• Booking a call. The "Book a Call" links go to Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service with its own privacy policy. I receive the name, email, and any notes you enter there.
• Server logs. Like most websites, the server records your IP address and the pages you request. I use this to keep the site running, to rate-limit abuse, and for nothing else. Logs are not combined with your identity.

What I don't do

• I don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
• I don't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on the public pages.
• I don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be told about something specific, such as the next live session.

Cookies

The public pages set no cookies. Private admin areas of the site use a single login cookie that only I use. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request in line with Google's privacy policy.

Who else sees your information

Email is delivered through Resend. The site and its database are hosted on Railway. Scheduling runs on Cal.com. Each of these processes data on my behalf under their own terms and does not use it for their own purposes.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. California residents have these rights under state law and may also ask that their information not be sold; it isn't. Email [email protected] and I'll respond within 30 days. I won't treat you differently for asking.

Retention

Contact messages are kept for as long as we're in a conversation and for a reasonable period afterward so I can pick it back up. Ask and I'll delete them sooner.

Children

This site is for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. I don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes get a note on this page.

Accessibility statement

I want everyone to be able to use this site. It is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA: semantic structure with a skip link and landmarks, visible keyboard focus, color contrast at or above 4.5:1 for text, text alternatives for images, and respect for your reduced-motion setting. These checks run automatically before every deployment.

If anything on the site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email [email protected]. I'll fix what I can and get you what you need in the meantime.
